Medicare:
Dr. El Shahawy is a Medicare Participating Physician. We will be filing all of the charges incurred with us by our patients who are on Medicare. The patient is responsible for deductible and the 20% that Medicare does not pay of the allowable charges. If you are a new patient and are on Medicare, please let us know.
HMO's and Commercial Insurance
We participate in several major HMO's. Please contact our office to receive an updated list that we participate in if you desire.
Non-Medicare Patients:
It is the policy of this office to request payment at the time the service is provided or within 10 days of receipt of your statement for Hospital Services.
As you understand, all Doctor-Patient relationships require frankness and it is our hope that you will always feel free to discuss any questions regarding your bill or any other matter of concern.
